For quite some time Tweetdeck was my preferred choice when it came to social media management software. And for awhile Tweetdeck was meeting my needs, but I just grew increasingly more frustrated with performance issues with the Adobe Air platform. It certainly doesn’t suffer from the slow downs I experienced with Tweetdeck.

Sidebar bookmarklet. Tweetdeck – I know most of those reading will know of Tweetdeck, but I have to add this to my list as I’ve tried practically all of the different Twitter apps, and in my opinion Tweetdeck just seems to work out the best. However when it comes to a mobile Twitter app see #7.

I personally know that I check Tweetdeck, Facebook, and my email inbox far more often than necessary. If there’s a big yellow Tweetdeck button in my Dock or some links shared by my friends on Facebook, I’m going to want to click around. If you can do the same with some of your applications, then I recommend that you do.

Tweetdeck If you’re using Twitter in any way to build your personal brand or business, then Tweetdeck will help keep you organised. I created a Twitter list which currently has about 80 people in it, and I usually only monitor the tweets from these people. 15,000 views on Youtube in one day? No problem.
