I scan 275 RSS feeds in Google Reader and I use dozens of bookmarklets and shortcuts to help me manage it all. I remember reading about other ways to backup delicious bookmarks to gmail but they were not too simple to setup. Television.

I also cant see any real advantage over delicious (except for not having to remember where all the dots go). I should add, perhaps, that I do history, not tech news and media trends, so my research scenarios look rather different.

Google Trends I rarely build new sites these days (I buy profitable ones, instead) but my most recent was in December, with my $1m case study. I like to use Google Trends which gives me an idea of whether an industry is becoming more popular online or if it’s declining. If so, then Delicious may be for you.

As an alternative, trying using the shortcut keys (Right click on a bookmarklet >> Properties) which, when pressed after CTRL+L (CMD + L on Mac), will load a specific website.
