I still need to work on linking to other social networks and to openID. I experimented with start pages for PLE but opted to go to the learning landscape option with elgg.net; with elgg I have the lifelong space I need for the students with social networking, collaboration tools and theopen architecture to add functionality as required.

Summit feeling excited about the prospects of OpenID and Government 2.0 , I was also left asking myself things like, “that’s great that OpenID is coming to the government, but now what? So while I left the Gov 2.0 How do I help my client’s organization take advantage of this program?

TwitterFeed – a service that combines OpenID and Twitter to let you feed the entries on your blog to Twitter Twitterholic keeps a top list of users based on how often the post, how many friends they have, and other factors. It displays a list of most popular links on Twitter. You can see all the Twitter messages mentioning the link.

Ideally, combinations of tools might support interoperability/shared storage, roundtripping (the ability to send a file from one service to another and back again) and single sign on (eg using openid, yahoo or google authentication, etc).
