Twitter’s role as a conduit for the Zeitgeist is unrivaled, and it has almost single-handedly ushered in the era of real-time search, and social CRM. In true Twitter fashion, it wasn’t “rolled out” per se, it just appeared as part of the API that third parties access. Not an overwhelming participation rate. I love Twitter.
