Just last year, I was running this blog on a self-hosted Wordpress instance, the same server I was running SocialToo.com. To tell you the truth, my first inclination, as a Wordpress user and developer (I've written a few Wordpress plugins and even put together the theme for this blog with help of a designer), was to try out Wordpress.com.
