A few weeks ago I stumbled across another gem, Lanyrd and it’s officially my go to site for all things conferences. Lanyrd uses your Twitter account to effectively crowdsource conference information and it’s working. I’m always a fan of great UI and simplicity in execution, and Lanyrd nails both.

I was having dinner with a friend at the National Speakers Association conference a few days ago. Great for a conference call, small meeting, a quick “breather” when you’re traveling, actors working on their lines, etc. You’ll see an example of those disclosure “badges” at the bottom of this post.
