If you're using Drupal, you can add an image field of your own and simply edit your theme's CSS to hide that field with display:none. If you aren't familiar, Feedly is a tool you can use to collect RSS feeds from your favorite news and information websites so that you have one place to go to see all the latest content.

Align RSS Images – I like to use images in my blog posts and I know I’m not alone. This plugin aligns images in your RSS feed so they are exactly where they would be on your site. I created a page that specifically tells new commenters about the sites RSS feed and how to subscribe. I highly recommend including both.
