The High Point: Facebook In 2004, I joined Facebook and my behavior changed drastically. Social media connections are those I know through a variety of online forums, the blogosphere, Twitter, and the like (but I generally don’t befriend someone immediately; I still give it time). I had many friends just like that.

See, I’m one of those Facebook users who have been on the service since February 2004, which is quite a long time considering Facebook was open to about three schools at the time that I signed up. Digg is now part of social media and will be explained in the final chart. I actually practice what I preach.
