To be fair, I’ve only included those I’ve actually used (Radian6, Sysomos, Spiral 16) or tested (Meltwater, SM2). I'm currently using SM2 for most of my clients, and like how easy it is to use. On your chart, you show that SM2 can get down to the state level on the geographic filter. Is that a recent add to the system?

Alterian – formerly known as SM2 by Techrigy offers a freeimum service that offers up to 5 search terms to monitor for and up to 1000 results, which could be good enough for some small brand with low volume. Which sounded like Social CRM meets Systems Integration company to me.
