While there’s still a place for Yelp in my heart, I’ve found lately that I much prefer using Twitter and Foursquare to find new places and things to do here in Boston. And since it’s a mobile app, I can use it to find places near me no matter where I am in the city. Realtime feedback=realtime AWESOME. I’ve moved up, moved on.

Android Apps I can’t live without

Seesmic for Android – Twitter is my favorite social platform, and for that I have no shame. We tried out a few of them, but Google Maps was the quickest and drained the least battery. It now has a place on my phone’s desktop and will be used every time I head to a new city or for some reason get lost wandering around Boston.
