I have really cut back recently and really only participate actively in five social networks, below are the five and my reasons for sticking to them. While I am no longer as active as I was in the past in Twitter chats, the network is really one where great relationships can be made. Foursquare – I love this network.

Why should I like your brand?

Without a doubt each one of these stores had a callout to “like them on Facebook,” or to “check-in on foursquare” or to “follow us on Twitter”. Now on the surface this is a great thing for social media as it is getting prominent exposure to the general public. Foursquare – no deal, despite a call out to check in.
