I also use a desktop search tool which has radically changed how I handle email and directories. I find that there is little need for email folders and a lot less need for directories. Find Members Alphabetical Directory. Adoption is slowly gaining ground, you just have to convince people that it is better to create content in the wiki for all to see and edit rather than using Word and emailing it round and round for updates.
