For my Reading and Researching use cases, Im focused primarily on Collecting, Reflecting, Connecting (somewhat) and Publishing (somewhat - although I would call it sharing). I also use a desktop search tool which has radically changed how I handle email and directories. Then go to Blogger and sign-up (it takes less than 5 minutes).
