In fact a distribution company’s “products” is audience/channel not articles or widgets. Google Plus, Twitter, Foursquare and eBay are fighting to bring in MORE eyeballs and chasing Facebook. So does Apple with their App Store. You end up cannibalising your own revenue streams.
