A few other random thoughts: PLEs provide contextually appropriate toolsets by enabling individuals to adjust and select options based on their needs and circumstance - resulting in (ideally) a model where needs, not technology, drives the learning process. Ideally, a PLE requires content and conversation to flow between different platforms.
