The Changing Face Of Article Marketing » UberMedia, Mixx, And Twitter Remember the social media website Mixx ? If UberMedia actually does purchase Tweetdeck and competes directly against Twitter, will they incorporate Mixx into the fray as well? A partnership with Tweetdeck would undoubtedly increase their clout.

Twitter, once so open, has become a closed-minded place—it’s not helped by Tweetdeck, which crashes like crazy now, and Metrotwit doesn’t handle multiple accounts. Transparency is still important.

I virtually never use the web site – I do my tweeting from my iPhone (Tweetie) and from two desktop applications (Tweetdeck and Twhirl when I am monitoring multiple Twitter accounts). Further digging has found they looked only at domain traffic , not traffic coming from third party apps that connect to Twitter via its open API.
