HootSuite. I’ve been a HootSuite fan for a long time. as much as I could, what I do find very useful, outside of the publisher, etc., I find the easiest way to do so is to schedule a ton of posts in HootSuite. But why would I need Buffer when I have HootSuite and Post Planner, you might want to ask me?

I know we can do that for Twitter through HootSuite, etc., “Well, I can do this through HootSuite, etc.,&# you say. when I finally hit PUBLISH. I publish/manage this blog as well as that of a client, and have to do my BNET posts on a regular basis. You can schedule posts to Facebook. Can you say OMIGOD?!

Its the same old folks (often because the companies use the same old faulty metrics -- evidenced by the AdAge Power150, especially when they introduced Alexa -- or because the more subjective lists are published by groups of pals who like to pat each other on the back). The main reason is Hootsuite doesnt connect with Twitter for Lists.

The more experienced tweeter will use Tweetdeck, HootSuite, or something similar. In his free time, he does … well … social media … and publishes the blog Extremely Average. The problem is that the person doesn’t see my @ reply, because they are still watching their stream of new tweets from the people they follow.

First, because I rarely use Twitter’s web interface, and second, because the minute I see a “promoted tweet,&# even if it’s on HootSuite, I pretty much tune it out.
