Feedburner If you’re a blogger and you’re not using Feedburner, I first of all want to know where you’ve been, and secondly need to say that you have been missing out. Feedburner basically provides the little yellow “chicklet&# that you see on the top right hand corner of this blog.

Yet, if I notice a “11,652 subscribers&# feedburner chicklet before clicking the close tab, it’s far more likely to make me stick around. Luckily, even if you’re a very new blogger who doesn’t have many subscribers, it’s easy to show massive amounts of social proof. It’s on!! Keep up the good work.

Sign-Up To Feedburner – Feedburner was purchased by Google a few years ago for $100m and is one of my favourite services online. Not only that, but you can easily setup email subscriptions and insert social bookmarking links directly into your feed. By default, the Wordpress title tag is backwards.
