4) None of the following are community platforms: Wikis, Blogs or Forums. These are not platforms…these are implementations on top of platforms. I’m not convinced there is a lot of evidence in BUSINESS communities that people come to those communities for social networking (like Facebook / MySpace).

While I can't dispute that good websites are falling by the wayside because of Facebook, one can't ignore the fact Facebook is a great platform to induce interaction. Despite their size you would have to think that a Google, Apple or Microsoft could still buy them without blinking. Interaction not typically found on websites.
