In this diagram taken from the Twitter developer blog they break Twitter’s ecosystem up into 4 quadrants. They use Twitter online or the Twitter application on their smart phone, so for the average user this isn’t such a big deal at all. They want to hold all the cards. So who cares? Well I do for one.

In a nutshell, Evernote lets you add information to a database that is accessible through the web, a desktop app, and your iPhone, or smart phone. Here’s an example of how I use it for blogging. I can finish what I’m doing and come back to my Evernote file full of blog posts, ready to finish.

With the advent of smart phones, tablets and smart email apps your email title and first sentence is crucial. The same goes for your customers.
