Why would I need yet another aggregator that doesn’t give me any choices? And if I didn’t, I would set up Google Reader or a NetVibes page with Twitter and blog RSS feeds from only the top bloggers that interest me.

Twitter, for example, still has a thing called “ the public timeline &# where all tweets are reproduced and can be found by search engines and services that aggregate tweets. None of this applies to the so-called online conversation: Anything you publish online could potentially be visible to millions of people.
