Mashable reported this morning that, after the Hitler Downfall meme had done it’s work and made tonnes of money for Constantine Films, that Constantine Films was forcing the parody videos to be removed. When I logged into YouTube all was fine. Once you’ve filed your dispute, your video immediately goes back up on YouTube.

Pageviews wise, it was the most popular I’ve published this year but more surprising was how many emails and comments the topic received. The meme’s aren’t that great and the implementation is quite sloppy (huge black bars on pictures, some very pixelated, etc.), Daily users of Mail Online topped 5 million, an 11.6%
