In aggregate they will ad up. Apple was almost dead and Microsoft was king. But as a percentage of Fans on a page as I have blogged about in the past the number of Fans taking action (Liking or Commenting) on a Brand page runs less than 0.03% of fans on average. They get between 100 and 300 posts to their fan page per day.
