The Irony: MySpace Okay, so in my previous paragraph, I mention that you should be an early adopter of social networks. However, I joined MySpace in 2006 to network with individuals who refused to use Facebook and to return to my liberal ways of accepting a lot more friend requests than I normally would. > click.

Here’s the real Facebook, long before I joined the social network myself: Truthfully, it doesn’t matter who invented Facebook. Facebook is like MySpace. And these three social networks, which were based on very similar concepts, predated the Facebook that we know and love today. Facebook is like Classmates.com.

As Tamar pointed out, it’s a social news site, not a network and I could care less about how often profiles are updated. i like digg because its different and i hope that difference doesnt erode with these new features. canwediggit ) The internet doesn’t need another MySpace, Facebook, Hi5, Orkut, Multiply, etc.
