Last year I was pretty close in my prediction (I had the code right - just not exactly what the code did - this was all the launch of Facebook's Social Plugins), having got some clues in their open source Javascript SDK that were launched in the code before they were released to developers. Kinda reminds me of Myspace - I hope not.

The software development community -- especially the open source community -- has long used "bounties" to help lure developers to certain tasks. Cofundos.org is focused specifically on open source software, but the team behind it has indicated that they plan to adapt the concept to other areas, including beyond software development.

Sites like Myspace , Facebook and EduSpaces.net can serve as PLEs - the ability to dialogue, manage ones own identity, and share resources, combined with huge penetration in many campuses, speak of their potential as a learning tool.
