Tips for adding emojis and stickers to your videos

1) Trim the duration length of your emojis and stickers

In the Timeline, you can trim the amount of time that your emojis and stickers show in the video.

If you don’t want your emojis to appear throughout the video, just drag and trim their duration length in the timeline.

2) Add emojis and stickers to your video at different points

Of course, you can add multiple emojis at different points of the video.

If you’re diligent and patient enough, you can even make a quasi-animation of the same stickers or emojis moving across your video and appearing at different times.

3) Place your stickers and emojis anywhere and change their sizes

You can drag the ends of your stickers and emojis to change their sizes.

You can also drag and drop them anywhere on the video.

4) Delete your stickers and emojis from your videos

Hover your mouse over the timeline of the emoji or sticker in question. To show the delete menu, you can either:

  • Right-click on your mouse.
  • Double-finger click on your trackpad

That’s it. You’ve deleted the emoji or sticker.

5) Make sure that the emojis and stickers make sense in your video clips

When adding stickers and emojis to your video clips, make sure that they make sense with the overall vibe of the video, or they may cheapen your content.

The stickers and emojis should also fit well with the pacing and energy levels of your content. Otherwise, an emoji/sticker randomly added to your video may become more annoying than fun for your viewers.

6) Add fun sound effects

You can also add sound effects to your video with VEED’s video editor to complement your emojis and stickers. Simply download the sound effect and upload it to the editor.

Different Types Of Stickers And Emojis That You Can Add To Videos

1) Progress bars to indicate how long the video will be

Progress bars are all the rage on social media to indicate how long sections or chapters of a video will be. This can be particularly useful for those who post long-form videos with different sections. Content creators can add these progress bars in each section to show its duration.

And, of course, the progress bar fills up alongside its total duration. Whether this is 10 seconds or 5 minutes, the progress bar will proportionally get to 100% by the end of its total time.

2) Audiograms to turn your audio content into videos

Soundwave stickers can be amazing for repurposing your podcasts and audio content into videos to post on social media platforms.

After all, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and most other social media platforms don’t really allow people to upload audio content.

With VEED, just upload your audio file, add a soundwave, maybe include subtitles for those who watch content on mute, and you’ve just repurposed your content for your social media audience!

3)Plain ole’ emojis to make your content fun and engaging

Of course, VEED has an impressive catalog of emojis for your liking. You already know what emojis are, so we won’t get too deep into this.

4) Some cool shapes

Shapes are great for blocking certain parts of your video, such as a telephone number or email address that you don’t want to share. You can edit these shapes in these following ways:

  • Fill color. This lets you change the color of your shape.
  • Outline thickness. This lets you change the thickness of the shape’s outline or border.
  • Outline color.
