My advice would be to pick a few methods from the 65 I’ve listed below, and start implementing them. Write list posts like the one you are reading. Create a hub about your blog on HubPages. Rent a mailing list and send high-quality content with a link back to your site to all the subscribers. Test them for yourself.

Other sites with a similar approach include Hubpages and Squidoo , which each offer a share of the Adsense revenue that your article makes you. I’m surprised to see Buzzle on the list once again. If you add a YouTube video, Google can remove the #1 listing for your page, and instead you get a #5 listing for the YouTube video. Google has nothing else to list except the URL of your page. Then adding the video can be helpful to rankings and traffic.

Utilise Free Content Sites Another link source that I don’t really love but I see doing well for a lot of sites is utilising free content sites like Squidoo , Gather and Hubpages. That resource was a list of top blogs in my industry , but yours doesn’t have to be the same. So this is a wonderful refresher list.
