What makes their offering so great is the statistical analysis and easy of use. Of course this only really works if you use Feedburner (which many bloggers do), but my blog subscribers skyrocketed once I started using FriendFeed. You can also access your bookmarks on their site if you are ever on a public computer.

Subscriber Stats I really don’t know if I should continue reporting on Feedburner as the count is just far too erratic. But with Feedburner, who knows. Sorry to hear about the whole feedburner thing, I think we are all kind of feeling that it is just way unreliable. Yup you are right about the feedburner stats.

RSS does continue to drive traffic (at least, my Feedburner stats seem to indicate that) but as I look at my own statistics to see where people are arriving on my sites from, the percentage of those coming from RSS/Feedburner seems to be on the decline.

In fact, I taught and served as a private tutor for Graduate Level Statistics. It used to be that the RSS resource of choice was Feedburner. See the note, in the below image, signifying the discontinuation of Feedburner as we know it. I have been using it ever since FeedBurner went away and I have never regretted that choice.
