It can be disappointing to go through your feed readers and see that many of the feeds have not been updated recently. I delete a blog from my reader if it doesn’t update enough. So I posted a note to Twitter and asked the Twittersphere how they find inspiration for a blog post. I hope so anyway!).

It started on Twitter (I should never switch on Tweet Deck that early in the day!) too many distractions , whether they be Angry Birds, Farmville, Twitter, Youtube, or something else. with a link that a friend sent me to read. That link led me to another, and another. Everything I did was related to blogging and my business.

Feed readers are used to read your content. People use search engines, feed readers, and social media because they provide functionality missing from most websites. Chat forum. Chat forums aren’t for every site, but when done right they’re great ways to build community and facilitate conversation.

You can see how many people are subscribing to your RSS feed and from which sources, and if you use the new Google Analytics integration, you can see how many clicks each individual post is getting from feed readers. Around two years ago I had over 350 feeds in there as I was a total information junkie. No problem.
