Step Four: Detach Yourself from Feedburner. It’s a shame that the efforts of whoever built Please Don’t Kill Feedburner don’t seem to be paying off, as I really think the service is on its last legs. That’s soon going to change though with the huge losses in subscriber counts coming from the closure of Reader.

Subscriber Stats I really don’t know if I should continue reporting on Feedburner as the count is just far too erratic. Every day the figure fluctuates by thousands of readers, going as low as 4,000 to as high as 12,000. But with Feedburner, who knows. Yup you are right about the feedburner stats.

This is also helpful to me because it forces me to take on more of a "beginners mind" and think about the kinds of questions newbies may have about social media so I can get better at anticipating and answering those. What questions should I have answered that I didnt? What questions could I have answered better?

I found myself paying even more attention to the temperature in the room--were people engaging with the presenters, did the presentations seem to resonate, what were their questions?
