Since installing roughly six months back, I have seen an increase in post views and added traffic to posts that were written six-12 months ago. It has also increased the time spent on the site.

With Google Analytics I can see if people are engaging with our blog’s content and then use that information to adapt to the preferences of site visitors. Those are readers I know weren’t on our print distribution list and I can see that they are engaging with our content. So pitching the merits of going paperless was a no-brainer.

You need an endgame, a plan for using that FB page, that Twitter account and a way to turn that engagement from awareness to sales, loyalty, advocacy, etc. Engagement" is overrated.
