The creator of the Veritisium Youtube channel, where the video went viral, stated that he doesn’t actually blame Facebook directly for the inactive clicks. Companies like Time Magazine and The Huffington Post know whether they can use images from other websites or not. Is this fair use?

Remember before I was saying, when you take a quote from a larger piece of content that someone has written, you are taking a small part of what they’ve written and using that in your own. That fits into what’s called “fair use.”
