Communication is about what they hear, not what you say

Dave Fleet

If you think you’ve conveyed something but the other person hears something completely different, is that their fault or yours? . Recently a friend of mine posted a photo on Facebook: As pithy and humorous as it was, I disagreed. Strongly. From my perspective the onus is on you to consider not just the words coming out of your mouth, but how they are received. How to Create Facebook House Rules or Community Guidelines

Harp Interactive

Does your Facebook Page have Rules or is it a free-for-all? A Facebook Page is an excellent venue for community building among brand advocates and customers (or potential customers) seeking more information, discounts, insight or customer assistance. Every Facebook Page is a potential target for the irrational, irate person that ‘Likes’ the Facebook Page only to leave a barrage of negative comments on the Page.

5 Things Small Businesses Need To Know To Avoid The Groupon Curse

Waxing UnLyrical

Perhaps it was an episode of Extreme Couponers or the explosion of social commerce sites such as Groupon that sparked my addiction to a good deal, but either way, I’m hooked on them. If you’ve gotten past the title of this article (and many don’t) you’re obviously intrigued. How could anyone expect to sell anything this way? Being Busy is Not Being Productive

Cody Ward

One of the most misleading but commonly held beliefs is being “busy” means that you’re being productive and accomplishing a lot.
