Here is a nifty, simple search engine optimization trick that I bet you didn’t know. I am not sure if Google has done this on purpose, but some links that are posted in Google Plus are automatically tagged with a nofollow link attribute, meaning that there is not any search engine optimization value added to the link.

If your backlink profile looks unnatural Google will penalize your blog which in turn harms your search engine ranking. Tracking these links is important because it shows you which marketing efforts are bringing you results. When was the last time you analyzed the inbound links pointing to your blog?

This domain would become the home of my million dollar website so it had to be good. When you’re thinking about domain names for affiliate sites, its best to be as relevant as possible, but also choose something brandable. As with most domains these days, mine was of course already taken. Good stuff!

I like to focus on building search engine traffic to my sites because once you have rankings you can usually sustain them with little effort and the traffic they send is very targeted. These days I’m spending my time focusing on much bigger (and more competitive markets) and having a lot of success.
