The Real-Life Social Network

I saw this presentation kicking around and was really struck by a lot of the metrics. The example of Debbie sharing more than she knows is something that many people do, but don’t realize.

As social networks grow, there needs to be a kind of an educational crash course for people called Don’t be Dumb on the Web 101. I know that I constantly talk to family members about this, especially cousins in college and my young sister. They need to realize that anyone with a keyboard can find out what they are up to.

Do you find yourself doing the same thing?
