Thus far, you can’t feed your Twitter, Facebook, or other updates into your Google+ stream. You’re always reminded of notifications. It’s better (in my opinion) than the one for Facebook, especially when it comes to sharing your mobile photos with your network. No automated updates. Less noise, less spam.

Mention provides a really good user interface with a very nice mobile app for monitoring mentions across many platforms. You enter your keywords and then you will start to get notifications. Brand24 has some great functionality and the results displayed are pretty impressive. Price: From $49 to $349 per month.
