Now that YouTube allows you to connect your show’s RSS feed, you can embed a YouTube version of your podcast on your website. You can then track these results in Ads Manager (using 1-day click attribution, of course). You can create an event for time spent , but that’s not exactly what you want. You have another option.

Facebook Listens. RSS Added Back to Pages. Will Twitter be next?

In perhaps one of my most controversial articles (unintentionally), I wrote a week or two ago about how both Twitter and Facebook both quietly removed RSS from user accounts and Pages. Of course, he had a point. You can see it by looking down at the bottom left on any Page now. There is a glimmer of hope with this move by Facebook.

Meta Shuts Down Facebook Podcasts

You could hook up your podcast’s RSS feed to your Facebook page. When a new episode was detected in my show’s RSS feed, it would be published to my page (of course, only those in the US on mobile devices might see it). Downloads don’t mean a whole lot in the podcasting world, of course. Or revenue?

iGoogle Finished – what’s your favourite RSS Dashboard social media monitoring?

It can’t be a purely RSS play as we need gadgets/widgets for API only based services. By the way, Google, the classrooms don’t always have Chrome, and it’s not a mobile course. I was thinking Netvibes but wondered if you have another option? Really grumpy ! iGoogle will be retired in 16 months, on November 1, 2013.
