I strongly recommend using a pinging program like Ping.FM You’ll notice that photographs, links and video are applied plus conversations are introduced. This can be something as simple as networking with respected peers in your niche, set up Twitter Feed or create a new social media group on Facebook or Linkedin.

Google Reader allows you subscribe to RSS feeds across the web. An RSS feed is simply a real-time running list of posts, tweets, blog posts, Facebook links, etc. Remember, social networking is about a two-way conversation. Another great (free) Google product that you can use to have content delivered to you is Google Reader.

It really is a conversation platform. What’s really cool about Amplify is that when you want to start a conversation, you have 1,000 characters with which to do it. More often than not, I’ve found sharing those thoughts is what sparks conversation. It syncs with several platforms. Regardless, thanks for visiting!

Time decay: The newer the content, the more likely it will show up in your news feed. Like I pointed out above, if your content gets a low score, it may not even show up in the Recent News feed. So what you need to do is optimize your news feed. Here’s how to do that. With HootSuite you can integrate with Google Analytics.

Look at the quality of a person’s feed or entries: are they just adding links or are they engaging in legitimate conversation? Now is a good time to sign up to receive new articles by email as soon as they are published or subscribe to our RSS feed. On your blog/website, provide links to your other networks on every page.
