I have filled out job profiles on corporate websites that have taken 45+ minutes and I was surprised they didn’t ask for a DNA sample to go with it. More companies should look at this approach and take note. During this search I have seen some of the most awful, lengthy, horrendous methods of applying for anything.

Display Your A-List Friends on Your Profile On each person’s profile page, a sampling of their friends’ photos are displayed. Then again, is it that they don’t mind or that they didn’t know that they had a choice about it?

This is often used by established companies (like Chevy with their eco campaign, or the GAP ) to keep themselves fresh in peoples minds and assist with their ongoing bid to stay relevant in the current culture. Some of which not only compile online info about your company, but do sentiment analysis as well.

Sure, you can tell your company story ad infinitum in social media, but ultimately you’ll benefit so much more if you can make your customers part of your marketing team. Show them aspects of your company that they didn’t already know. Maybe sampling and demos on location will fit better.
