Forum Marketing – OK, I’m being a little bit misleading here. Today’s forums are 1991s bulletin boards. Still, those old bulletin boards were a lot like forums. Today’s forums are a bit more sophisticated and have rules in place to control spam, but they are still effective marketing venues.

Submit articles to article publishing sites like Ezine, Hubpages, etc. Visit popular industry forums, blogs etc and comment (create a Gravatar linked to your company email first). But don’t take our word for it, check it out yourself: who’s the #1 Chicago Social Media Company.

They’re simply registering on tons of forums and profile websites, placing their link in their bio’s, and then ranking well for their keyphrase. Once again I’ve noticed another website which is simply spamming forums (and writing articles) in order to rank for their phrase.
