Any irrelevant pages like terms of use, PDF files, privacy policy, and sitemaps should be nofollowed. Use your own discretion as to other pages you may want to nofollow. Scary, isn’t it? Just as low-level article directories (ezinearticles, articlesbase, and others) got hurt by Google’s Panda Update in 2013, I predict that Google will hurt sites abusing guest blogging in 2013. But when SEO companies start to abuse any link building tactic, you need a preventative plan in place because an update from Google will be coming.

These days I’m spending my time focusing on much bigger (and more competitive markets) and having a lot of success. You aren’t going to rank for ‘internet marketing’ within a few months from scratch, but you may rank for a variation on the term fairly easily. This is very popular in the UK.

Writing solid content is only one piece of the puzzle when it comes to marketing a successful blog. Nofollow links to sites with which you don’t want/need to share link equity. Search for “noindex” in the plugin directory. This site is deep, not flat. If you have any, delete them unless they are there for goodwill’s sake.
