I like that my online communities help surface the content that is most relevant to me and it seems to keep me up to date with news and events. However, the social network has been working on Reader for more than year, according a report in the Wall Street Journal and is said to resemble Flipboard. Google will soon shelve Reader and this has created a lot of panicky online noise from ardent fans. However, I am largely unconcerned.
