Mind that this report only works for URL (not domain report). When searching for the domain name, proceed to “Tree view” section. There click “Filters” and under “Domain position for a keyword” select from “10” to “20” This will show you which keywords your site is currently ranking for on page two of Google SERPs. Just navigate to “Top pages” after searching for a domain name: 5.

My general recommendation is to use the free version until you start seeing uptake by the community. Great names. It can be funny, quirky or a play on an existing meme, but figure out a relevant, cool and timely name for your Blog. Before you even create your site, get your URL, make a giant list of 100 things that you’d actually see yourself writing about. I think for me this is actually a tip that I’ve given many people over the years, whether it’s 100 or not, I think brainstorm as many topics for blog posts for content as you can before you get that domain, before you set up your blog. These are good questions to ask before you go and register that domain, and before you go and set up that blog.

Building that community early on was very powerful. The biggest mistake I made, however, was not putting my domain and hostname in auto-renew on my credit card. As your homepage is probably already ranking for your site name, you’re not helping yourself by putting your site name at the start of your title. I would probably struggle to rank this site for anything which gets thousands of searches per month unless there was some amazing service attached to it, it was my brand name, or I was running a blog. They don’t even rank in Google for their own name, so that should tell you what search engines think of them. Not necessarily the name of the product, but buying phrases that would likely result in a sale if this person landed on my website. After you’ve decided on a product you want to promote and the keyphrase to go with that, it’s time to buy a domain. As I have gained more experience in internet marketing, so I have come to put more and more weight on an exact-match domain name, and it sounds like you have acquired one which is an excellent start.
