During the Discovery phase the brand lets go of the conversation and hands it to the community. The price of entry is a stellar product and an amazing customer experience. Talk about your progress, what your creating, create a community of believers. Not literally, but figuratively. This is the true test of the brands health.

As I wrote yesterday’s post, and then read through the comments, I re-learned a lesson I thought I’d already learned: that the community you are trying to build is great; but the community you have is even more important. Especially when it’s this reasonably priced. Remember, even “free&# has a price.

Last year, I considered doing her online business course but was overawed by the price. The price was the same, but a year had passed so I’d had time to get used to it. All the video tutorials on the web cannot add up to the loving support of a well-informed, well-connected community eager to help a member out. I moved on.
