How do services like the Police engage in Social Media and online communities? You can subscribe to their feed, the community is distributed (meaning: not “on&# their site but on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube) but doesn’t include a social media press room.

Pretty Link Lite : Every blog post has a long URL that includes the year, month and key words. Sometimes it’s also nice to have a short (and readable) URL to share in an email. I’m talking about a shorter version of the URL to a post on my domain. Google Analytics : Of course I use Google Analytics.

But since we all seem to use shortened URL’s these days, does it really make a difference? I am concerned about losing the existing followers that I currently have if the URL changes. URL would not actually include the word categories)?WP They tend to love that and will happily migrate to your new site.

By “branding” I mean that you should always have a branded intro and outro to your videos, and you should also make sure that you add an image watermark or a URL to make it easy for people to work out where the video comes from, and to click through to your blog. Create a Pinterest board specifically for your YouTube channel.

For your blog, any URL will do, and if you are writing for a blog with multiple authors, FriendFeed parses through the authors and only features blog posts written by you. That is, of course, if your friends are using Twitter. I have my Google reader shared URL, set up as a Yahoo Alert. Which is search able, etc.

Grow and nurture your community. If someone wants to request a refund, try to keep the money in house by offering them another course, ebook, etc. Remember that you do not own YouTube, Vimeo, or other video networks. See speaker’s favorite resources (courses, equipment, etc.) Use marketing channels to be more human.
