I strongly recommend using a pinging program like Ping.FM One of the easiest ways to develop a community is create a Facebook fan page. It is very, very difficult to update every social media outlet that you may have.

The following are reasons I chose to use HootSuite as my primary Twitter management tool, and the ways I use it to help in my blogging. Plurk: Real Nested Conversations Brought to the Microblogging Platform A few days ago, I noticed via Twitter search tool Summize that Aaron Brazell had been talking about me on his Twitter stream. Therefore, I suppose the nested conversations and time-line layout make complete sense. You may have more than one.

Publicizing a private conversation on a wall post. After all, Facebook was a tool that college students were using before it was open to the public, and some still use it as a purely personal and not a professional tool. FriendFeed is a service but it’s also a community. Why don’t the three of you get a room?
