I once heard an insurance company ask their agency to figure out who is the best at selling insurance online and beat them. Asking to see an agencies' work is almost as bad as asking for their website URL.

But since we all seem to use shortened URL’s these days, does it really make a difference? I am concerned about losing the existing followers that I currently have if the URL changes. Question: How to convince a company that you work with how important blogging can be to their company’s success?

The articles might be provided by the advertising company, or might be commissioned for the blogger to write themselves. Create a Listing for your website that includes your URL, site description, keywords & social channels. It works like this: Go to Trafeze.com and sign up for free. I then submitted all of my social profiles.
