The Huffington Post The Huffington Post has added a “Hot on Facebook” module to its home page and in a sidebar on posts: I like this and think it will do a good job of encouraging user clicks, similar to the Digg widget that has worked well on news sites. Question: How to convince a company that you work with how important blogging can be to their company’s success? Answer: I would say the easiest way to convince a company to use blogging is to find a competitor that is using it successfully. It just depends on the site and the community!

If I could sum it up in three little words, they would be: Magazine. Magazine advertising sales? Yes—magazine advertising sales. So, what do magazine sales have to do with blogging success? Blogging is about building community. During my magazine ad sales days, our product, frankly, was very useful.

You have to create content, be part of many communities, and proceed incrementally. Your company needs to be part of that conversation. It’s about having a strategy for making your company or organization more like a person and less like a machine. That’s not a “wave the magic wand&# scenario.

I have a couple set up for books that I work for the publishing company. I am trying to do this on my company fan page and I dont see the pencil for the boxes tab either. A big company like this you should think that they clould afford to give SUPPORT to there clients. !! Looking forward win! I hate being frustrated.

To find out where your audience is hiding, I recommend searching: Google : Try keyphrases such as “top blogs on [niche],&# “[niche] forum,&# “[niche] community&# Facebook : Search using the form on the top right of the site for keywords relating to your market.
