As my company builds out our first blog- there are great tips in here, thank you. But to me, a blog is similar to a magazine and most popular magazines have pictures. The difference is that it may be a lot harder, and take a while longer, to find those 5,000 people and introduce them to your community. Would you see anything about the industry on a magazine stand. This is a really interesting question, especially for people who are managing communities that are attached to larger brands.

I use networking as a very broad term which chould include creating connections with bloggers, finding companies who can help you to get your offering out there and utilising other areas of social media to get eyeballs on your creation. This is very popular in the UK. Once you have this unique resource; you have to get it out there.

Discussions start from questions, and this is a great way to get a conversation going in your community, especially if you make bold statements on a hot topic. I find inspiration from magazine covers, books, and other bloggers along with my own imagination. Glad you liked my domain name! Thanks again, Glen.
