Mashable is reporting that Google is planning to rebrand two of its largest Web products – Picasa and Blogger. I understand rebranding Picasa. When I think of Picasa, I think of Picasso – the famous painter. But Picasa is about photos, not paintings. But Picasa is about photos, not paintings.

Blogger Blogger is Google’s blogging platform and one of the most widely used free blogging services. You can choose and customize between different layouts can be incorporated with other Google services like Feedburner, Picasa etc. I will go through to most widely used blogging services.

Among the services that Klout now tracks are: Tumblr – A blogging platform somewhat like a cross between Twitter and Blogger. Blogger – Which needs no introduction. Other services I’d like to see added to Klout’s metric and tracking for social media are StumbleUpon, Groupon, Ning, Picasa, and BlogCatalog.

The most obvious evidence being the upcoming changes to Picasa and Blogger: both will soon be re-branded, likely as Google Photos and Google Blogs respectively. However, the people at Google’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California, seem to be pushing Google+ to front-and-center.

While that’s the first thing that people think of — at least me, as a professional blogger — content is anything that can be read, watched, seen, or heard. Find photos from Flickr or Picasa — be sure to use Creative Commons photos — or buy royalty-free stock photography, and put them in your blog posts for added impact.

I like the way it’s written, and my favorite thing to do as a blogger is piece together the bigger picture. In the very first release, Plus has a killer integration with Picasa (Google’s photo service), and its live video chat feature (called Hangout) could very easily become a Skype killer. This is #1. Google Buzz.
